Jerrold E. Engstrom, 67 of Stoneboro, passed away on September 21, 2023 at UPMC Passavant. Jerrold was born on October 29, 1955 in Greenville to Jane (Rose) Engstrom and the late James “Web” Engstrom. He was a graduate of Lakeview High School and worked for 35 years as a furniture refinisher for MCAR.
Jerrold was a member of Lakeview Church of God and served as an Usher and Greeter. He was known for riding his bike around the Stoneboro area to say hello to his friends. He always loved going to the Stoneboro Lake and seeing his friends Julie Widel, Scott Black, and the late Bob Black. He enjoyed camping and picnics with his family and spending his Labor Day weekends at the Great Stoneboro Fair. Most of all he loved his family and spending time with them.
In addition to his mother: Jane Engstrom, Jerrold is survived by his brothers: Jim (Rita) Engstrom of Fairview; Jeff (Pam) Engstrom of Stoneboro; and Jon (Deborah) Engstrom of Stoneboro, nieces and nephews: Jodi (Mike) Daley; Corey (Silas) Engstrom; Doug (Katie) Engstrom; Dan (Gretchen) Engstrom; Adam (Allison) Engstrom; and Melissa (Adam) Sohl, nine great nieces and nephews, and one great-great nephew.
Jerrold was preceded in death by his father: James “Web” Engstrom, and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. 99 Franklin Street, Stoneboro, where visitation will be from 4 pm – 7 pm on Monday, September 25. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, September 26, at 11 am with Rev. Barry Markle, officiating.
Interment will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery.
