Heather Dawn Lloyd

Heather Dawn Lloyd, 50, of Meadville, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at her residence after a courageous 2-year battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

She was born March 30, 1973, in Meadville, a daughter of Kenneth Lloyd, Jr. and Susan Miller MacBlain.

Heather was a 1991 graduate of Meadville Area Senior High and a 2003 graduate of Great Lakes Institute in Massage Therapy.  Heather worked as a bartender for over 30 years, most recently at Meadville Elks Lodge 219 where she was also a member.  She was a member of West Mead 2 Fire Hall.  Heather enjoyed spending time with family and friends, kayaking, golfing, gardening, traveling, playing euchre, word games Candy Crush and Wordle, making people smile, and listening to music.

Survivors include three children, Heaven Lloyd (Tyler), Devin Horner, and Shane Looney (Rustee), all of Meadville; paternal grandmother, Grace Lloyd of Meadville; uncle, Daniel Byers of Guys Mills; grand dog, Nayla; and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Tyler McNeilly; maternal grandparents, James and Florence Miller; paternal grandfather, Kenneth Lloyd, Sr.; and an aunt, Mary Byers.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, September 22nd from 4-6 pm. at the ROBERT W. WAID FUNERAL HOME, 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE where an Elks service will follow at 6:00 p.m. immediately followed by a Celebration of Heather’s life.
