I'm sad to hear of Dewayne's passing. My condolences to Alan, Danny and Linda, and the entire Doutt clan. Many of my earliest memories include playing with Alan and Danny and hanging out watching Dewayne in his wood shop or reloading shells. As neighbors, we saw each other almost ever day. Later, when I would return to Polk, I would see Dewayne in church. He was a great friend to my father his entire life. He will be missed by many.

I've known Dewayne for more than twenty years and would stop and chat with him when I fished Sandy Creek. I cherished listening to his stories and opinions on life. He definitely had a "doctorate degree" in life experiences. I introduced him to my children and grandchildren and I' m truly blessed to have known him. My condolences to his family. He will always be in my prayers.

Condolences to DeWayne's family. He and I and others spent many an hour on the porch when we down to fish. We solved many of the world's problems, especially when the fish were not cooperating. Will miss our visits. Good man!!
