Kristine "Kris" A. Goodrich

Kristine “Kris” A. Goodrich, 55 of Mayfield, OH, passed away on November 26, 2019, at the Cleveland Clinic. Kris was born in Youngstown, OH on March 8, 1964 to the late David A. and Bonnie A. (Richael) Goodrich. She was a graduate of Canfield High School, and then went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree from Case Western Reserve University and went on to work as a Biochemist at Cleveland Clinic, and most recently at Charles River Laboratories. Kris loved her work and put much of herself into her career. She was an animal lover, especially loving her cat, Meeska. She would enjoy skiing with her husband at many resorts in Ohio and New York. She also enjoyed beading. Kris married her beloved husband, Peter J. Hawryluk, on October 16, 2004, he survives at home. She is also survived by her brother, Mitchell Goodrich and his wife, Monica, of Montclair, NJ; her Aunts: Melissa “Missy” Ostrander and her husband, Mark, of Meadville, Theodora “Teddi” Edwards and her husband, George, of Townsend, TN; her Uncles: Jeffrey Richael and his wife, Sally, of Pittsburgh, and John Richael of Falls Church, VA; Grandparents: Jane and Lester Richael, of Stoneboro and Florence and Austin Goodrich, of Canfield, OH; her Mother and Father-in-Law, Judie and Joseph Hawryluk of Vacaville, CA; a Brother-in-Law, Steve Hawryluk and his wife, Alannah, of Vacaville, CA; and her Nieces and Nephews: Henry, Anna, and Calvin Goodrich, and Reagan and Raena Hawryluk. Kris was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Black Funeral Home of STONEBORO, 99 Franklin Street, where family and friends are welcome from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM on Sunday, December 1, 2019.
