Clair H. Campbell

Clair H. Campbell, 93, of Grove City, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Greystone Country Estates in Fredonia.

He was born on July 8, 1928 in Jackson Center, to the late Hugh J. and Rosella (Lowers) Campbell. He was a graduate of the former Stoneboro High School.

Clair worked for many years as a Crane Operator at Cooper Energy in Grove City. He loved traveling with his late wife, having visited all 50 states and over 40 different countries. They also enjoyed attending flea markets and running their Gun Show together. They would frequent antique malls and even had their own antique shop in their home; Campbell’s Collectibles.

Survivors left to cherish his memory are his two daughters, Lynda C. (Mark) Johnson of Warren, PA, and Cathy L. (companion Abe) Kellner of Fredonia; six grandchildren, Michelle (John) Kehoe of Harleysville, PA , Mindy (Tom) Fox of Tidioute, Kristy (Brad) Wright of McDonough, GA, Rich (Tami) McClearn of Janesville, WI, Lisa (Tim) Hicks of Sandy Lake, and David (Alyssa) Kellner of Sandy Lake; great-grandchildren, Lauren (Andy) Dunkle, Jarod (Kaylee) Roofner, Sydney (Fiancé Taylor) Kehoe, Johnny Kehoe, Kayla Wright, Kierra Wright, Kamryn Wright, Brendyn Wright, Hanna McClearn, Aspen Kellner, Adeline Kellner, Katelyn Connors, and Savannah Hicks, great-great-grandchildren; Lelani, Madelyn, Scarlet, Annabelle, and Alistair, brother-in-law John (Nancy) Piel, and his cat; Allie Cat.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife, Alice I. (Piel) Campbell whom he married on August 31, 1951 and who passed away on June 11, 2018.

Per the family’s wishes funeral services are private.

Interment will take place in Crestview Memorial Park.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home, 99 Franklin Street, Stoneboro.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of donor’s choice.
