Brandon E. Alford
Brandon Eugene Alford age 31 passed way February 8, 2022, in Florida.
Brandon was born in Newark Delaware on April 1, 1990. He attended Immaculate Heart of Mary School and graduated from Brandywine High School in Wilmington. Brandon was employed in sales for a moving company in Florida. All who knew him, knew this was a perfect job for him as he could talk for hours without a break.
Brandon lived in West Palm Beach FL for the last 11 years. He had an infectious laugh, the funniest most outgoing and bubbly personality. Anyone that knew Brandon, knows he loves his “Red Vans” Only his outlandish personality could rock the “Red Shoes”
Brandon loved soccer and played many years in his youth & high school. He loved the ocean and was a beach baby since day one. He spent every summer going to Ocean City, Maryland with his family where he enjoyed boating, tubing, fishing crabbing and swimming in the ocean. He also loved his time in Stoneboro, Pennsylvania hunting, riding ATVs & side by sides and snowmobiling with his uncles, cousins, and friends.
Brandon was a true believer in God and is now running around in Heaven with his friends who also lost their battles with addiction. And I know his loving father and grandparents are welcoming him with loving arms. Brandon is forever young, free and happy.
Brandon is survived by his loving mother Kelly Heckman-who he always referred to as Momma Dukes. Brother Benjamin Alford. He also leaves behind his mom-mom Betty Heckman, Aunts Mikki Heckman (Theresa white), Tammy Mcintire (Kevin Mcintire) Kathy Sterrit (Christopher Sterritt) and Uncle Todd Heckman (Teresa Heckman) Loving cousins Mackenzie, Nate, Grace, Megan, Andrew and several other close relatives and friends.
Brandon was predeceased by his father Mark Eugene Alford, his grandparents Chuck Heckman and Jack & Millie Alford.
Fly high my Angel. You will forever be my laughing, outlandish, red shoe wearing loving son. You made me a mom and I am eternally grateful for the time with you, although way too short.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home & Crematory, 99 Franklin Street, Stoneboro, where family and friends are welcome from 5 pm - 7 pm on Monday, February 21.

Brandon and I met at the Retreat in Lancaster back in 2019. I really looked up to him throughout my recovery and he always had the best advice for me. It was like he knew me inside and out. He was someone you could lean on especially in early recovery. His energy was so contagious and he was always making people laugh and joking around. Although we didn't talk everyday, I still considered him one of my close friends. I lived in Sandy Lake for a while and thankfully got to see him over Thanksgiving. We lost a really pure soul who just wanted to help people and help himself. He had such a big impact on me and the recovery community that I didn't even realize. I wish I could see him one last time to tell him how much he meant to me and everyone else. My deepest sympathy for the family. He was always talking about how much his family meant to him and how much he loved you guys!

Still in shock!!! Wish this was all a bad dream.
Brandon was like a son to me.
He helped me through some very dark days, his positive spirit and contagious laugh were just a few traits that I loved about him!
He was a wonderful friend to my daughter, one she knew she could always count on!
I hope that the joy of his memory will help ease the pain of his passing. Sending hugs to you Kelly!
Brandon will remain in my heart forever!
