Barbara Jean Mason Armstrong

Barbara Jean Mason Armstrong, 85 of New Vernon Twp, Stoneboro, passed away on May 25, 2022 at her home. Barbara was born in Sandy lake on August 21, 1936 to the late Walter and Agnes (Gander) Procner. She was a graduate of the former Sandy Lake High School and went on to work as a secretary for Bessemer in Greenville and then Pittsburgh. She enjoyed sewing with her family and reading. She also enjoyed trips to area casinos.

Barbara was a member of St. Columbkille Roman Catholic Church.

She is survived by her sister; Rose Richael, and brother; Dave Procner, both of Stoneboro, sister-in-law; Colleen Procner, and nieces and nephews; Roberta, Mitchell, Stephen, Kevin, and Stacie.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her brother; Robert Procner, and brother-in-law; Larry Richael.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. Stoneboro & Sandy Lake.

There will be no public services as per Barbara’s request.

Interment will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery.

I am very sorry on the loss of your sister and aunt. She was a very creative person. She probably is going to flea markets with her mom and dad.
