Allen C. Kline, Sr.

Allen C. Kline, Sr., 89 of Lake Twp, Stoneboro, passed away on March 22, 2022 at his home. Allen was born in Dunmore, WV on July 31, 1932 to the late Floyd A. and Nellie K. (Carpenter) Kline. Allen worked for a number of years at Trinity Industries/Greenville Steel Car in Greenville as a welder and was the past president of the Local UAW 1653 Retirees. He also served as a board member for the Transfer Fair and served as a loan office for the Greenville Federal Credit Union.

In his free time Allen enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed camping at Pithole outside of Oil City and watching wrestling. He also loved showing his chickens at many local area fairs and raised peacocks. Most of all he will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Allen proudly served his Country in the United States Army, where he was based in Korea. He was a member of the Greenville VFW Cpl James O. Jordan Post #3374.

He married his beloved wife, Yvonne (Prody) Kline on July 31, 1955, she survives at home. He is also survived by his daughters; Wanda Pratt of Clarks Mills, Marian (Robert) Boughner of Stoneboro, and Tina (Audie) Davis of Greenville, sons; Allen C. Kline, Jr of Stoneboro and Lee (Nancy) Wilder of Cleveland, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister; Barbara Cherry, brother; Kenneth Kline of Carlton, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents Allen was preceded in death by his son, Brock Kline, daughter-in-law Barbara Kline, grandson Jason A. Kline, sisters; Joyce Phares and Betty Woge, and brother; Floyd A. Kline, Jr.,

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. 99 Franklin Street, Stoneboro, where family and friends are welcome from 12 pm – 2pm & 4 pm – 6 pm on Friday, March 25. Military Honors will be rendered by the V.E.T.S. Honor Guard at 6 pm following visitation.
