Marlene McCracken Obituary

Marlene McCracken, 83 of Liberty Twp, Grove City, passed away on January 14, 2021 at AHN-Grove City. Marlene was born on March 25, 1937 in Guysville, OH to the late Floyd and Elma (Lohse) Burk. Marlene was a homemaker for her family and was known as a “gun slinging domestic goddess”. She loved working hard raising her family, baking, cleaning, ironing, and starching. She loved yard sales and auctions and loved helping others in need. She was a very talented piano player and enjoyed playing. She was a very strong woman who loved her family dearly. Marlene married her beloved husband, Harry Lee McCracken on November 21, 1993, he survives at home. She is also survived by her children, Phillip Williams of Guysville, OH, Rebecca Ross (Roger) of Mississippi, Tammy Kaltenbaugh of Grove City, Mike Kaltenbaugh (Sandy) of Denton, TX, Michelle Knauff of Scranton, PA, Billie Sue Kaltenbaugh of Denton, TX, and Dennis, Angie, and Todd, step-children Debrah McCracken of Atlanta, GA, Ruth Ann Coffey, Atlanta, GA, Lee M. McCracken (Shelly) of Grove City, and Ed Kaltenbaugh of Grove City, grandchildren Lynn, Christy, Ashley, Jesse, M.J., Tina, Dave, and Jacob, great-grandchildren Jack, Aubrey and Cheyenne, sister Olive Davis, as well as many many dear friends. In addition to her parents, Marlene was preceded in death by 4 sisters. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Black Funeral Homes, Stoneboro & Sandy Lake.
