Heidi Aileen Minor

Heidi Aileen Minor, 46, of Harrisville Road, Grove City, Worth Township, passed away the evening of Wednesday, December 26, 2018, at Grove City Medical Center, after facing many years of a “journey” battling Metastasized Breast Cancer. Heidi was called into Heaven, by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Welcoming her into her eternal home was her beloved parents, David and Vonda (Patterson) Minner. Heidi was born in Grove City on September 20, 1972. She attended West Middlesex High School where she graduated in 1991. Heidi married the love of her life on November 21, 1992. Steve and Heidi have three children; Amanda, Adam, and Austin. Heidi was a member of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church where she worked as the secretary for many years. She also served terms as a trustee, deacon, and youth group leader. Heidi was a former Mercer County Dairy Princess, served on the Mercer County Holstein Association, and was very active in the Mercer County 4H program. Heidi’s pride and joy were her children and she was blessed to have the opportunity to be a stay at home mom for 25 years. Throughout the years she had part time jobs being a caregiver, which she greatly enjoyed. Heidi enjoyed being on her family farm, attending cattle shows with her children, crafting, watching her children line dance, taking pictures, camping, and spending time with her friends. She loved having a house full of her children’s friends who all held a special place in her heart. The thing she loved the most though was spending time with her husband, children, and her precious granddaughter. Heidi is survived by her husband, Steven, at the residence; three children, Amanda (Scott) Duncan, Adam (Kristine) Minor, and Austin Minor, all of Grove City. Her Heaven sent angel was her granddaughter, Alivia Aileen Duncan. She is also survived by her Mother-in-law, Ardeth Minor of Grove City, many brother and sister-in-laws; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Heidi was proceeded in death by her parents, David and Vonda Minner. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Black Funeral Home of STONEBORO, 99 Franklin Street, where family and friends are welcome from 2 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm on Sunday, December 30. Addition visitation will be from 10 – 10:45 am on Monday, December 31, at Ebenezer Presbyterian Church, 2426 Scrubgrass Rd, Grove City, PA 16127, A funeral service will follow at the church at 11 am with the Rev. Dr. Maurice Smith, church pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Union Home Cemetery. Memorials may be made in Heidi’s name to the Children’s Aid Society, P.O.
