Frebern R. "Buck" Kinney

Frebern Ray “Buck” Kinney, 77, of Fairview Twp., Fredonia, passed away on August 17, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Buck was born in Burgettstown, PA on September 7, 1943. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and driver for the majority of his working career. In his free time Buck enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting guns and spending time outdoors. You could also find him tinkering with anything he could take apart and put back together and going out for drives. He loved spending time with friends and family socializing. Most of all he was known for being a loving husband, father, papa and friend. He will be deeply missed by his family. He was the “Best Father and PaPa Ever”. He married his beloved wife, Arlene D. Galentine, on February 18, 1963, and she survives at home. In addition to his wife, Buck is survived by his children, Michael R. (Sonja) Kinney, of Minnesota, Mark (Heidi) Kinney, of Clarks Mills, and Carrie (Brook) Marini, of Sandy Lake; his grandchildren, Cody, Colton, Sarah, Katherine, Kyle, Nicholas, Brittany and Krista; great-grandchildren, Elliot, Bentley and Kinslee; his siblings, Bill Kinney, Robbie (Marlene) Kinney, Harriett Brown and Donny Kinney; and numerous nieces and nephews. Buck was preceded in death by his daughter, Darcy; his son, Edward Kinney; and his siblings, Addie, Rosie and Sonny. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. Stoneboro & Sandy Lake. There will be no services as per Buck’s wishes.
