Eric Lee Lenkner

Eric Lee Lenkner, 57 of Sandy Lake, passed away on October 1, 2021 at UPMC Northwest, Seneca. Eric was born in Grove City on August 9, 1964 to the late Raymond and Beverly Lenkner. He was a graduate of Grove City High School and went on to proudly serve his Country in the United States Army. Eric then worked for many years as a corrections officer at SCI Camp Hill and then SCI Mercer, from which he retired. Eric was a member of Emmanuel Christian Church. He enjoyed firearms and reloading his own shells. He also enjoyed the outdoors and taking his great nephew David fishing. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially traveling to his home in Florida with his family. Eric married his beloved wife, Dawn Yoho-Lenkner on August 11, 1994, she survives at home. He is also survived by his children, Chad Lenkner, Bryan Lenkner and significant other Ashlei O’Neil, Jenna Lenkner, and Nathan Lenkner, all at home, brothers Ray Lenkner and wife Cindy of Grove City, and Keith Lenkner and wife Melinda of Grove City, as well as many nieces and nephews. Eric was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. Stoneboro & Sandy Lake. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, October 15, 2021 at the Emmanuel Christian Church, 4495 Greenville Sandy Lake Rd, Stoneboro.
