Christina Marie “Chryss” Workley, 40 of Grove City, passed away of natural causes on March 22, 2021 at AHN Grove City. Chryss was born in Ellwood City on June 6, 1980 to David Workley and Diane L. (Carothers) DeFreese. She was a graduate of Riverside High School in Ellwood City and went on to complete her LPN at New Castle School of Trades. Chryss was a woman who was able to achieve anything she put her mind to. She loved her motorcycle and was the founder of the Full Throttle Sisterhood. She was a dear friend to many and always was there for her friends. She also enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. Most of all she had a deep passion for her family. Chryss is survived by her father and step-mother, David and Joyce Workley of Ellwood City, mother and step-father, Diane and Harry DeFreese of Pell City, AL, fiancé Richard Myers of Grove City, children Kyle Mulig of Stoneboro, Cody Mulig of Grove City, and Caitlyn Mulig of Stoneboro, brother Bryan Workley and wife Samantha of Pell City, AL, several step siblings, her paternal grandmother Ida Workley of Ellwood City, and her fur babies, Marshall, Riley, Opie, and Sammy. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Dave and Joyce Carothers, paternal grandfather Don Workley, and her paternal great-grandparents whom she was very close, Bill and Mary Docchio. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose & Black Funeral Home of Stoneboro, 99 Franklin Street, where family and friends are welcome from 12-2 PM on Saturday, March 27, 2021. A funeral service will follow visitation at 2 pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be made in Chryss’ name to The American Cancer Society or to the International Association for Suicide Prevention.
