Cheryl A. Shingledecker

Cheryl A. Shingledecker, 68 of Grove City, passed away on August 13, 2019 at Butler Memorial Hospital. Cheryl was born in Franklin on Feb 13, 1951 to Albert and Dorothy M. Wheeler Shingledecker. Cheryl was a kind and loving person and loved spending time with children. She also loved animals, especially cats and dogs. She was a resident of Trinity Living Center for 13 years and had many friends there. She also enjoyed playing bingo there as well as participating in horse races. Cheryl attended Wayside Community Church in Grove City. Cheryl is survived by her parents, Albert and Dorothy Shingledecker of Grove City, brother Michael A. Shingledecker and wife Patricia of Stoneboro, and sister Becky L. Clayton of Sandy Lake, nieces and nephews Jeremiah Shingledecker and wife Lex, Travis Shingledecker and wife Mandy, Wendy Heffern, Stephanie Heckman and husband Brett, Chrissy Reynolds and husband Bill, Major Jamie Spangler, and Crystal Drew and husband Kevin. 16 great nieces and nephews, 8 great-great nieces and nephews, an aunt, Peg Dick, and aunt and uncle Dick and Judy Shingledecker. She was preceded in death by her sister Susan Heffern, and nephew Michael Shingledecker, Jr. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Black Funeral Homes, Stoneboro & Sandy Lake. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 24, 2019, at Wayside Community Church, 1911 Mercer-Grove City Road, Mercer, PA 16137.
