Carolyn Bollard Obituary

Carolyn R. Bollard, 83 of Sandy Lake Township, Stoneboro, passed away on April 12, 2018 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Carolyn was born on September 10, 1934 to the late Louis and Grace Helbig Robertson and was raised in Conneaut Lake, PA. She was a 1952 Graduate of Conneaut Lake High School. Carolyn married her beloved husband, Roger Lee Bollard on September 11, 1959, he preceded her in death on March 22, 2017. Carolyn drove a school bus for Lakeview School District for 35 years. She was a member of the Methodists United in Faith and attended the Lakeview United Methodist Church. She also enjoyed square dancing and line dancing, bowling in her earlier years, golf and shuffleboard. She loved to travel especially to Florida during the winter months. Carolyn is survived by her four children, Nancy L. Hawk and husband Duane of Largo, FL, Julie L. Jones and husband Christopher of Union, OH, Keith D. Bollard of Kettering, OH, and Shane R. Bollard of Stoneboro, eight grandchildren, Diare Bollard, Dylan Bollard, Gretchen Sturgill, Allie Finney, Devin Jones, Brian Jones, Kendra Bollard, and Katie Bollard, a great-granddaughter Lily Bollard, a brother James Robertson and wife Patricia of Greenville, sisters Shirley Williams and husband Rusty of Clayton, OK, and Marian Woods of Fort Worth, TX, and sister-in-law Joyce Storll of Linesville. In addition to her parents and husband, Carolyn was preceded in death by an infant son, Dean J. Bollard, sisters Violet “Vi”, Janet, Rosanne and Virginia. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Black Funeral Homes, Stoneboro & Sandy Lake. Family and friends are welcome at the Lakeview United Methodist Church, 1472 School Road, Stoneboro, from 2-4pm on Thursday, April 19, 2018 . A memorial service will follow visitation at the church at 4 pm with the Reverend Earl R. Dykes, Associate Pastor, Methodists United In Faith, Officiating.
