Brenda E. Collenette

Brenda E. Collenette, 58 of Carlisle, PA, formerly of Sandy Lake, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at UPMC Pinnacle in Harrisburg. Brenda was born in Grove City, on May 9, 1961 to Ruby (Rhoades) Reed and the late Charles “JB” Reed. She was a graduate of Lakeview High School and went on to work as a hospital admissions coordinator at hospitals in Grove City, Meadville, Baldwin, WI, and River Falls, WI. She also worked as a Public Notary, was a certified EMT, and was a member of the Sandy Lake Volunteer Fire Department. Brenda married her loving husband, John Collenette, on November 1, 2008, he survives at home. Brenda was known for her love of children and enjoyed spending as much time as possible with them. She was an excellent cook and baker, and dearly loved her pets and animals. She enjoyed crocheting, relaxing watching Law and Order, and keeping in touch and socializing with friends on Facebook. She was loved dearly by her family and will be greatly missed. In addition to her husband, Brenda is survived by her sons, Jason Morrow and wife Natasha of Sandy Lake, Justin Morrow and wife Lisa of Sealy, TX, grandchildren Blake and Adaline Morrow of Sandy Lake and Isaac Morrow of Carlisle, as well as one brother, Raymond Reed. She was preceded in death by her father. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Black Funeral Home of Stoneboro, 99 Franklin Street, where family and friends are welcome from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Friday, February 21, 2020. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, February 22, at 11 am with the Reverent Kenny Westmoreland, officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Brenda’s name to Strayhaven Animal Shelter, 94 Donation Road, Greenville, PA 16125.
